Infants

The infant program is centred on the natural curiosity and energy of very young children.

The SJCC will provide your child with lots of attention, a variety of appropriate activities, abundant conversation and nurturing so your baby's world is fun, interesting, safe and loving. A family atmosphere is emphasized and great care is taken to ensure the least amount of disruption in your baby's life.

Parents are expected to provide formula, lunch, special snacks (if necessary) diapers and wipes.

Infant childcare is a full-time program at the SJCC, for children 6 weeks – 18 months.

The program runs Monday-Friday, from 7:30 a.m – 5:30 p.m. Morning half-days are available at a reduced rate.

Our primary goal is to help each child for a basic trust. Once babies learn to trust, they respond openly and securely to new things, acquaintances and challenges. We surround babies with attractive pictures, mobiles, colors and soft toys to stimulate exploration.

Our safe, age-appropriate equipment and soft, cuddly toys are designed to meet each baby's special developmental needs. Each infant has an individualized curriculum developed to meet his/her needs. We show each that his or her needs will be met and that the SJCC is truly a wonderful new world, with all sorts or pleasant experiences.
