Early Childhood Education

Building Bright Futures Together:
Inclusive Early Learning

It is the mission of the Early Childhood Program is to provide every child with a safe and an appropriate learning environment to develop a positive self-image, to encourage exploration and experimentation, to foster imagination and creativity, and to develop the self-esteem and confidence to function in a positive manner in a group situation, no matter the religious, ethnic or socioeconomic level of the family.

All of our programs are designed to help each child learn to work cooperatively, develop literacy and math readiness, select activities according to interests, enjoy creative projects, and practice cognitive, physical and social-emotional skills.

Empowering Playful Growth at SJCC

The Early Childhood Program at the SJCC provides quality childcare for a variety of ages and developmental levels. We believe that each child should be given the freedom to develop at their own rate. Through play, children learn to think by being encouraged to solve their own problems and answer their own questions, with guidance from the teachers.

Staff

Our teachers and staff are qualified professionals who have the interests of you and your child first and foremost. Staff members are certified in First Aid and CPR and participate in professional development and training throughout the year.

Parents

We encourage open communication among families, teachers, and administrators to build trusting and beneficial relationships. Parents are encouraged to become involved in the program by participating in their child's program, attending social events, and becoming a part of our Parent Teacher Organization.
